Photoshop & Sketch: BSI Labs Team Page Redesign

The Challenge: A partner has requested an update to the team page in order to proceed with a client pitch.

Steps Taken:

1. Identify the new roster to be displayed and collect assets including art and titles.
2. Get Info on existing assets to determine image size and padding proportions (400px by 400px).
3. Open all images on Photoshop.
4. Change image size so it can fit to new 400px box size.
5. Use Quick Selection wand to select headshots and Cut.
6. Paste selection on to transparent background created from new layer.
7. Use Crop tool, switch dimensions to WxHxRes to 400px dimensions.
8. Center images so that eyes are in the top half of the middle row.
9. Export as quick PNG files.
10. Insert all Images onto Sketch file and align horizontally.
11. Ensure the photos are proportional, in-line with one another.
12. Moved assets into Wordpress media library and applied changes to team page.
